My passion and approach

My passion is helping organisations and teams take next steps in a good atmosphere. Making others successful and supporting them gives me energy and satisfaction.In doing so, I aim for smooth interaction and use a practical approach. Methodologies and implementations are not an end in themselves but serve a particular purpose. The 'why' is where the profit for the organisation will come from and is always central for me. I am result-oriented and like to reduce complicated matters to simplicity. I enjoy having sessions with Boards and Management Teams but get just as much satisfaction from interactive workshops with departments and teams and coaching employees.

My background

I have been working as an independent consultant since 2019. Before that, I spent 14 years at Randstad in various senior finance roles, including more than 3 years as finance director for Randstad Belgium. During the last 5 years at Randstad, I have focused on setting up global programmes focused on making the operations of the local head offices continuously better and customer-focused.

In addition, I am a lecturer at the Executive Master Finance & Control programme of the Amsterdam Business School (ABS, University of Amsterdam), where I teach performance management, goal achievement and management methods. I am also part-time associated with the Finance &Investments Department of the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM, Erasmus University).
